ASH THHN/THWN construction wires have good resistance to oils, gasoline, water, acids, ozone, sunlight, and abrasion. They meet UL 1581 (VW-1) vertical flame retardant test requirements. Conductors are flexible or tinned copper wires with PVC insulation, designed to withstand high and low temperatures in dry and humid conditions. Indoor wiring is permitted for 600V applications.

Application:

Type THHN/THWN is suitable for use in dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90°C or not exceeding 75°C in wet, oil-based, or THWN-based coolants. The outer nylon jacket provides resistance to gasoline and oil. Commercial and residential wiring, industrial building wiring, machine tools.
