Saudi Light Industries Co
The Saudi Light Industries Co., Ltd. is the first sponge manufacturer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1968 with a group of 15 employees working in a 6,000 square meter factory on Madinah Road.
Production was limited to manufacturing mattresses and pillows made of low and high density sponge. In addition to the polyurethane sponge production line () used in thermal insulation.
In 1978, the factory was renewed, expanded and moved to its current location - Kilo 16, Old Makkah Road -
In 1998, in order to keep pace with the increase in distribution to many regions of the Kingdom, the factory was re-equipped with the latest Italian and German technologies.
The factory now occupies an area of 60,000 square meters with an increase in the number of employees to 200 employees now.
Which gives us the advantage of speeding customer requests and in large quantities.
In 2017, the factory activity was expanded to include designing, manufacturing and equipping hotel rooms using the latest Italian automated carpentry machines, and a modern production line was added to assemble mattresses, increase productivity and quality control.
