DADCO CRETE (Cementitious Waterproofing Paint)
Description:
A flexible cementitious material modified with acrylic (two compounds) that only requires mixing the powder material with the liquid material on-site to provide a waterproofing substance with exceptional crack bridging ability and alkali resistance. It is applied to concrete, various structural surfaces, block surfaces, and plaster surfaces.
Recommended Application:
- The surface to be insulated must be strong, cohesive,
- free from plaster defects, non-cohesive parts, dust, and the like.
- Prepare the surface by scarifying, high-pressure water blasting, or mechanical sanding, addressing cracks, gaps, and sharp corners.
- Mix in a clean container powder compound A with liquid compound B using an electric mixer at low speed to obtain a homogeneous mixture free from powder clumps, ensuring it does not adhere to the mixing container’s walls.
- Dampen the surface with clean water without leaving residual water on the surface.
- Apply a layer of the mixture using a roller, brush, or spray, and apply the mesh at corners, edges, supply openings, and tank drains.
- Apply the second layer after the complete drying of the first layer in the opposite direction to ensure full surface coverage.
- After completing the application, surfaces, especially in hot and dry areas, should be covered until the product is completely dry to avoid rapid water evaporation. It will be ready for use after 28 days.
